Three operators describe the first week they stopped opening their BI tool before coffee, and what they did with the hour.
Ask an operations lead how they start the week and you will hear a version of the same ritual. Open the dashboards. Scan for red. Open the ones that look odd. Export something. Message someone.
We asked three Kairo customers to drop the ritual for a month.
The first week felt wrong
Everyone admitted to checking the dashboards anyway. Old habits. By Thursday, two of the three had stopped, because the brief had already told them everything the dashboards would.
Where the hour went
- One spent it in a weekly call with their largest customer
- One used it to coach new team leads
- One, honestly, used it to finish their coffee
What they missed
Nothing that mattered, they said. And one thing they gained: the confidence that if something did go wrong, they would hear about it without looking.
